Earning the Good Housekeeping Seal x27!

A whopping 27 Whirlpool appliance models have earned the Good Housekeeping Seal

These Whirlpool kitchen and laundry appliances were granted their Seal after evaluation by the Good Housekeeping Research Institute.

The Seal stands for recognition, and more. The limited warranty reflected by the Good Housekeeping Seal means that if a product bearing the Seal is defective within the first two years of purchase, Good Housekeeping will replace the product, repair it or refund the purchase price.

Find out about all the Whirlpool models that received the Seal. Go to the Good Housekeeping Seal List and choose the Whirlpool brand name.

Vegetables are your friends.

It’s a constant struggle to get kids to eat veggies. Try these winning ideas to help kids improve their relationship to produce.

1.  Make vegetables the first option, or the only one. Put a bowl of sliced raw vegetables with hummus or dip on the table before dinner. And pack and chill snack bags of baby carrots, bell pepper or cucumber slices, or a colorful mix.

2.  Make kids help with the shopping and cooking. Kids who spend more time with vegetables are more comfortable with vegetables.

3.  Make a bargain. Require kids to take at least one bite of any vegetable that’s being served before they say “no.” Or make clear that the only way to get to dessert is through a full serving of broccoli on the dinner plate.

This old fridge

A wonderful story from one long-time Whirlpool appliance owner.

“Hi! I just wanted the folks at Whirlpool to know that I’m still using the Whirlpool refrigerator/freezer that my parents bought in November 1967! They were newlyweds when they bought the appliance for their first home together. The fridge has moved with them to three states and into several apartments and houses. It now lives in my family’s garage and it still works great! We have Whirlpool appliances in our kitchen as well and we haven’t had a single complaint about them. I’ve attached some pictures of the oldie, but goodie, fridge. It’s showing its age, but for a 46-year-old appliance, we think it looks great. Thanks for making such a great product!

- Sincerely, Carrie D.”
